A miners’ delegate conference refused to continue the spreadover system after the termination of the agreements on‘March 31, The conference instructed the executive to demand that the Government immediately pass a Bill amending the Minimum Wage Act; 1912, to enable the Federation to deal with attacks on wages that are expected.
