AWARD TO AN AUSTRALIAN. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 8.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Prime Minister announces that the Air Force Cross has l>een awarded to Flight-Lieutenant Charles Eaton, of the Royal Australian Air Force, in recognition of his valuable services in search operations in Central Australia for the lost aviators the ill-fated Keith Anderson and R. Hitchock, and, more recently, Messrs Pittendrugh and Hamie, who' were located alive.
