SUPPORT FOR THE LEADER. RESOLUTION BY THE CAUCUS. (Special to "The Guardian.") WELLINGTON, March 10. The rank and file of the United Party are behind the Government in its legislative proposals. The caucus held to-night lasted until midnight, and, after full discussion, the following resolution was passed: "That this caucus expressed its continued confidence in the leader of the party (Mr Fofbes), extends .to him its continued confidence on his return to the Dominion from the Imperial Conference, and records its congratulations upon the able manner of his representation of the Dominion at the. Conference. "The caucus further expresses confidence in the courageous and statesnianlike manner in which Mr Forbes is facing the present economic situation of the country with a view to putting it,again on the high road to prosperity."
