LINDRUM’S BIG BREAK. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON’, February 8. In the Hpal replay of the Empire billiards tournament AA’alter .Lindrum. (Australia) made an amazing spurt, and scored 3880 . today. He carried an unfinished break to 2835, and completed the afternoon session, in which Newman (receive 7000) scored 31 with 273 unfinished, which in the evening he carried on to 451. Newman made a break of 199, after which Lindruin, showing most brilliant form, with marvellous control of the ball, made 2794 unfinished. The scores, were: Newman 16,819, Lindrqm 13,039.
