SENTENCES AT WANGANUI. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day the following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Ostler:—Rangi Aropata, two years’ probation for wilful shooting of a gelding valued at £l6 at Karioi, the property of Marotuna Matiu, and ordered to pay costs £4 14s 6d, restitution already made; Leighton Taylor, 12 months’ hard labour for unlawful carnal knowledge at Rangatotaua.
