REVOLT IN PERU.
ADMINISTRATION THREATENED. (United Press Association —Copyright.) NEW YORK, August 23. A message from Lima (Peru) states: — A serious military revolt in Southern Peru threatened the Administration and President Leguia. The garrison at Arequipa, the third city, of the Republic, was at the helm of the movement. The Government is said to be sending warships and aircraft against the rebels.
