METHVEN BRANCH LINE. COMMISSION'S REPORT AWAITED TELEGRAM FROM THE MINISTER In response to a telegram dispatched to the Minister of Railways (the Honi. W. A. Veitch) by the Mount Hutt Road Board, seeking fuller- information in reference to the proposed curtailment of the service on the Methyen branch line, the following telegram was received this morning' by the chairman of the Board: "No decision has been come to regarding the Methven branch service, and nothing will be done pending the report of the Royal Commission."
