VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A verdict that Hilda A. M. Millen was shot dead by her husband, Henry John Millen, who then shot himself, was returned at the inquest of the victims of the " double tragedy at Howick on August 9. During the inquest two letters were produced but not read. The Coroner said that one was a letter from Millen to his son. There was. nothing in the other letter except an expression of his intention to kill his wife.
