The New South Wales and Queensland Rugby Leagues are foregoing £IOOO advanced to the New Zealand Rugby League in connection with the recent football tour, and are giving the visitors £2OO. This is to enable fulfilment of the contract of the Dominion with the players. The tour resulted in a loss of £I2OO. The expenses totalled £2700. The "Telegraph-Pictorial" says that from the outset a substantial loss was anticipated. The New Zealanders were not an attractive combination and had no pulling power.
