APPLICATION FAILS.

WIFE ALLEGES CRUELTY. {Special to the “Guardian.”) CHRISTCHURCH, June 10. Cruelty was alleged by Clytie Olive Mildred ‘Adam (Mr Bowie) when she applied for maintenance, separation and guardianship orders against her husband, Ernest Henry Albert Adam (Mr Twyneham) in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. The parties were married in October, but lived together only futil January when complainant left her husband to live with her mother.

Letters were produced in Court in which Adam had written to his wife asking her to return. The application was dismissed by the Magistrate, Mr H. P. Lawry.
