A YEAR'S PROBATION.
BLACKWELL SENTENCED. SPECIAL CONDITIONS IMPOSED. (Per Press Association.) TIMARTT, This Day. At the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Adams, Bernard Lewis Blackwell, found guilty of having, at Otaio on May 11, been found by night without lawful excuse on the premises of William Alfred Aneell, the case being a sequel to a shooting affray, was placed on probation for 12 months, special conditions being that he should pay the co6te of the prosecution, report to the Probation Officer monthly regarding his income and expenditure, make proper provision for his wife's maintenance, take out a prohibition order, keep away from his wife's relatives, and || iy for the damage to Barr's house.
