further proceedings. THE TAKING OF ACCOUNTS. FAILURE OF CONFERENCE. (Special to the “Guardian.”) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Special application for direction as to the taking of accounts and settling of the principles to he followed in what is now known as the Wright - Morgan case, was heard m the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr Justice Sim. Mr Weston appeared in support of a summons on behalf of D. G- Wright; Mr Donnelly appeared for Mrs Morgan, with him being Mr Brassington; Mr Upham, with him Mr Cottrell, appeared for the trustees and for Mrs Nos worthy. . . . , , The case was previously heard before Mr Justice Adams at a recent sitting of the Court, when his Honor adjourned the matter to give the parties a chance to come to some working agreement. The conference failed and no agreement was come to. Mr Weston, in moving for the taking of accounts, said that Wright bought the properties from the estate of his father in *907 or 1908, and he continued in occupation until 1927, when the Bank of New Zealand sold the property remaining. He was ordered now to account for the profits of the place. It would be necessary to fix some annual payment which Douglas Wngv should pay for the use of the land. The Court reserved its decision.
