The Maharaja of Mayurbhanj, the most important and largest feudatory State in Orisha, died as the result of tetanus, caused through a razor cut. During the Great War the Maharaja supplied thousands of men for the labour corps and gave an aeroplane and motor ambulance. He served as a lieutenant of artillery. in. France,.
