FARMER LOSES WHEAT
TWO STACKS BURNED. THIRD IN GROUP NOT TOUCHED. Two wheat stacks owned by* Mr .A. Rogatski, of Staveley, became on fire on Wednesday evening hut it was not until 36 hours later, when a northwester sprang up, that they burned fiercely and were reduced to ashes. A third stack in tlie group was not destroyed. The wheat was carted in in a damp condition. It is understood that the stacks were insured.
