OAKES CHALLENGE SHIELD. RETAINED BY SYDENHAM. (Per Press Association.} CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The holders of the Oakes Challenge Shield, Sydenham, fired a match against the Ashburton Defence Rifle Club, the challengers, at the Redcliffs range on Saturday afternoon.
