RUGBY FOOTBALL.
HAMPSTEAD v. WA'IHI. A friendly match was played between the Hampstead and Waihi football clubs on the latter's ground on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Hampstead by 25 to 16. Tries were scored for the winners by G. Stephens (2), A. E. Stephens (2), J. Mulhern and G. Day (one each). C. Stills kicked a penalty goal, and G. Stephens and A. E. Stephens each con-, verted a try.
ALLENTON v ( . RAKAIA. The Allenton Football Club played a. friendly match with Rakaia, at Rakaia, on Saturday, resulting in a win for Rakaia by 8 points to> 3. Totty scored for Allenton.
