COUNTERFEIT COINS.
SENSATION IN INDIA. (United Press Association —Copyright). V DELHI, April 12. "The most sensational counterfeit case in India for many years concluded at Karachi, when four Indians were sent to prison for terms varying from two to seven years, and two Englishmen, G. E. Dickenson and C. D. Wheeler, were sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for two and four and a half years respecteively. It was disclosed that dies of rupees, Persian and other coins, were obtained by the agency of Wheeler from England. The finding bT a case of dies at the Karachi Customhouse led to the arrest of Captain R. P- Fan ell, 0.8. E., who turned approver. The operations were to be conducted at a remote spot on the PersianBaluchistan frontier. —Australian 1 ress Association, United Service.
