FORMS OF WORSHIP.
N.S.W. ANGLICAN CHURCH. DICTATION NOT TOLERABLE. (United Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Speaking at the Anglican Synod at Bathurst, the Bishop of Bathurst (the Rt. Rev. G. M. Long) said one fact abundantlv evident was that the leaders of the Church would not tolerate dictation as to the • forms of worship by members of Parliament, many of whom owed no allegiance to the Church of England or even to any form of Christian faith. . Forecasting what might happen if the House of Lords repeated its former vote, Bishop Long said that if this happened the Church would proceed on its own, without authority, .to authorise for use the forms approved j by the Convocation of the Church, and leave (Parliament to take action upon the situation. This would' involve dis- ( establishment, to which he thought no political party was anxious to commit itself. —Australian Press Association.
