The 1 Lawson Stakes resulted: — Limerick, S.ll ‘ k Jocelyn, 8.1 | Eight horses started. Limerick made short work of the opposition and won easily. He took charge a furlong, from the finish, and was never troubled.. He won by two with a short head between second and third. Time, 1.51 f.

MOONEE VALLEY MEETING.. ■ MELBOURNE, March 25.. . At the Moonee Talley meeting, the Quality Handicap was won by Highland, 8.6. Margaux, 7.12 was second; and Baringhup, 8.3, third. There were thirteen starters. Highland won by a short head in 1.13.
