ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

THE WANDERERS CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Wanderers’ Association Football Club was held last evening, Mr Calver presiding over a. fair attendance.

Jones, Hi Craighead and P. Hardy; secretary, Mr S. McElhinney; committee, Messrs T. Thompson, R. Shaw, J. Ross, A. A. Craighead and J. Moodie; delegates to the Board of Control, Messrs Calver and McElhinney; delegate to Sports Association, Mr J. Moodie.

It was decided to ask permission from the Board of Control to arrange a match with a Christchurch team at Ashburton during Easter. It was agreed to recommend the Board of Control to conduct a competition in Ashburton this year.
