HOCKEY.
THE OLD GIRLS’ CLUB.
( The annual meeting of the AshburI ton Old Girls’ Hockey Club was held last evening at the High School, the president (Mr J. W. Bowden) presiding over a good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet, which showed a satisfactory state of affairs, wore adopted. * Officers were elected as follow:—Patron, the Hon. W. Nosworthy; president, Mr J. W. Bow r den; vice-presi-dents, Mrs E. Ruddock, Miss E. M. Piggott, Messrs F. W. Watt and W. F. Watters; secretary and treasurer, Mis-s M. Mc-Leman; committee, Misses M. Chapman, A. Loach, D. Judge, M. Henderson, B. Millichamp; delegate to Sports and Hockey Associations, Mr H. Millichamp. Eight new membors were elected.
