LAWN TENNIS. CANTERBURY v. OTAGO. (Per Press Association ) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The lawn tennis' Match Canterbury versus Otago was begun at Wilding Park to-day in fine weather. Ollivier withdrew from the Canterbury side and B. B. Loughnau played as sixth man. The results are as follows, Canterbury names being given first: — Combined Doubles.—Miss Wake and Angas beat Mrs J. Tregear and Clark, 6-1, 6-0; Miss M. Andrews and Walker beat Miss D. Ramsay and Bray, 6-4, 6-2 : Mm Mills and Patterson beat Mrs McKellar and Black, 6-1, 6-1: Miss E. Partridge and Clanville beat Miss Finch and McDougall, 6-3, 6-2. Combined Doubles.—Miss Spiers and Seay heat Miss Marloney and Guy, 6-1, '6-2; Miss Johnston and Loughnan beat Miss Todd and Pearce, 6-4, 6-3. Men's Shudes.—-T. Patterson beat Black, 6-1, 6-0; Glanvillo heat G. Clark, 6-0, 6-0.
