CONTINUED IDEAL CONDITIONS. Three consecutive days of sunshine have been followed to-day, by a- fourth quite as pleasant as the others. The atmosphere, though warm, was not oppressively so, being relieved by a cool breeze from the south-east.. The barometer at 9 o'clock this morning registered 30.1 in. compared with 30\14in. yesterday. The maximum and minimum peratures yesterday were 72 and 62 degrees respectively, compared with 74 and 47 on Thursday. * OFFICIAL FORECAST. The following forecast was- issued to-day:— are for northerly to westerly freshening winds; weather .clouding over, rain later,' warm. Barometer falling slowly.
