A SERIOUS CHARGE.
OFFENCE BY A YOUTH. THREE YEARS IN BORSTAL. At a sitting of the Child Welfare Court this morning, a young farm labourer. 17 years of age, wad brought betore Mr C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., charged with having indecently assaulted a young girl at Brookside in October last. Accused was sentenced to a term not exceeding three years in the Borstal Institute at Invercargill.
