A Hobart cablegram announces the death of Dr. Edgar Ravenswood Waite, formerly curator of Canterbury Museum, Christchurch; aged 62.
The Very Rev. Thomas W. Price, of Methven, is to leave New Zealand by the Mataroa on March 17 for London, where, he will consult the eminent heart specialist, Dr. Strickland Goodall, of Harley Street.
, Mr P. Nichols, who was recently appointed by the Foreign Office as liaison officer for New Zealand, embarks by the Ormonde to-niorrow (says a London cablegram).
An Auckland telegram records the death of Mrs Jane Bollard, at Avondale, at the age of 89. She was the widow the late Mr John Bollard, M.P., and mother of the late Hon. Richard Bollard, Minister of Internal Affairs.
