FLOTATION IN AMERICA. (Per Press Association—CoDvright.) WASHINGTON, January 16. Treasury officials indicate in connection with" the French Industrial loauß that the French Government also, will be given credit with the Federal Reserve to aid a return to the gold standard, and may even be permitted to float Government loans in the United States if these privileges are sought. A previous message stated that the blanket prohibition against the flotation of French loans in America, which had been in force for three years, had been lifted by the State Department in so far as industrial loans were concerned.
