PLAYERS ALLOWANCES
AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM. AN INCREASE DESIRED. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. At the monthly meeting of the New South Wales Cricket Association, the question of allowances to the players to tour New Zealand was discussed. It was stated that the Victorian. Association had considered granting separate allowances to its players. It was decided to instruct the New South Wales delegates to the Board of Control to take immediate action to prevent any State association making a separate allowance to individual members of the team, and to request the Board to consider an increase in its allowances, to make them 25s a day, while the team is absent from Australia.
