DYNAMITE EXPLODES
UNEXPECTED CHARGE. ONE MAN KILLED, SIX INJURED. FATALITY IN NEW YORK. (Per Press Association— Copy right.) (Received This Day, 2.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 13. One workman was killed, and - six were dangerously injured as the result of an explosion of dynamite in a shaft subway which was under construction. The charges, left unexploded by an earlier scheduled blast, went off. Considerable damage was caused.
