OPENING OF THE INQUEST. CORONER INSPECTS THE SITE. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. An inquest was opened this morning concerning the death of Mr Charles William Nixon, aged 46, and Mr George AVilliam Clark, aged who were fatally hurt when a brick wall collapsed at C. E. Otley's works yesterday. . After evidence of identification had been given, the Coroner (Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M.), adjourned the inquest so that the police may make inquiries. Later in the morning the Coroner, accompanied by representatives of the Labour Department, and the secretary of the Carpenters' Union, inspected the site.
