AUDIENCE WITH THE POPE. (Received This Day. 11.50 a.m.) ROME, January 12. King Amamullah of Afghanistan visited the Pope. Contrary to custom he did not kneel or kiss the Pope’s hand, but merely bowed deeply. The Pope oresented him with an autograph portrait, and conferred on him the Order of the Golden Spur.
