ENTERTAINMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. One of the fastest adventure melodramas of the season, “The Lone Wolf Returns,” will be screened to-night and to-morrow night. The story, which is an adaptation of the famous Louis Joseph Vance novel, treats of the reformation of the master crook, Michael Lanyard, through an accidental meeting with Marcia Mayfair, a New York society girl, while he loiters behind portieres in her boudoir in an effort to evade the authorities. With this picture to-morrow night only there will be “Stage Madness,” a cleverly arranged story featuring Virginia Valli. The theme is a woman’s struggle between choosing a home or a career.
