ENDURANCE FLIGHT.
CAPTAIN SMITH'S PLANS. PREPARATIONS BEING MADE. (Per Press Association—Copyiight.) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, January 10. The supervisors of the Mills Field air port have ordered the board runway to be lengthened to 750 feet in preparation for Captain Kingsford Smith's coming attempt to establish an endurance record. The flight is planned to commence within a few weeks. The 'plane has been overhauled and its petrol capacity increased.
