OFFENCES BY CIRCUS HANDS, ,'Pnr Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 10. Three circus hands, who pleaded guilty last week to receiving stolen goods, were to-day each sentenced to 14 days imprisonment, the Magistrate remarking that the offences seemed to be concerted, the property being part of goods stolen in the South Island from motor-cars and other places, for which thefts four other men had been sentenced to terms of three months' "gaol. In order that the men might not be left strrinded in N<*w Zealand, the Magistrate agreed to niter the sentence to a fine of £5, in default 14 days' imprisonment.
