TINWALD MARKET. There was a good attendance of buy--ers at the Tinwald Stock Market this. morning and. prices showed a substan-- - tial rise in, most sections, compared. • with the last sale, held at Ashburton. Six head of cattle were yarded. Fat ewes sold fairly well, but lambs, both, by the smallness of the yarding and the prices, showed the decline following; the Christmas market. There was a, fair yai-ding in the fat sheep section,, but the offerings were mixed. Prices to noon were:— Cattle—l fat cow £9 10s, 1 cow £5 r 1 cow £2 15s, 1 heifer £3. Fat Ewes—3 at 18s 3d, 3at 15s, 5 at 16s Id, 7 at 16s, 9 at 20s 9d.. 5 at 20s Id, 9 at 21s 3d, 1 at 17s, 8 at 23s Bd, 5 at 18s 3d\ 4 at 23s Bd, 3 at ISs 9d, 3 at 22s 6d, 4 at 19s, 8 at 18s Bd, 8 at 22s 7d, 6 at 20s. Fat Wethers—l3 at 26s 4d, 13 at 26s 4d, 1 at 28s, 1 at 27s 4d, 5 at 265, 6 at 29s 10d, 11 at 27s 9d, 8 at 265?. 7d. Fat Lambs.—l at 31s, 2at 31s 3d, 4 at 265, 1 at 28, 1 at 28s 6d, 2 at 22s_. 10 at 28s 6d.
