REPORTED RESCUE.

NUNGESSER AND COLI. AN UNCONFIRMED STORY. (Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) QUEBEC, June 15. It is unofficially reported that Captain Nungesser and his mechanic (Sergeant Cofi) have been found alive. The report came from River Bend, in the north country, but word received from there to-night says that the news is not confirmed, and there is nothing to indicate a rescue. Captain Nungesser and Sergeant Coli left Paris in an attempt to fly across the Atlantic on May 9. They have not been seen or reported since. An extensive search failed to find any trace of the airmen. It was thought probable that they might have been forced by lack of fuel to land on the inhospitable Labrador coast. As stated elsewhere, reports that signal flares had been seen in the St. Germain district led to the foreßt workers being organised to search for the missing men.
