A woman attempted to commit suicide and was taken to the .hospital Her husband motored at night to fetch her sister-in-law, with two male friends, in the car. He collided with another and his car fell into the river, the three men being drowned. The conductor of a motor coacli recovered the bodies. The motor coach re-started and had gone only a few hundred yards when there was a crash. It was discovered that the coach had run down and killed a man pushing a hand-cart, on which was lying an invalid, who was severely injured.
