The Rey. W. Marshall left yesterday lor Wellington to attend the annual meeting of the New. Zealand Alliance. Mr W. Crawford, M.A., of Timaru, arrived in Ashburton last evening and commenced duties this morning as instructor of general subjects at the Technical School. The Rev. George of the LMorth-East Valley Presbyterian Church, Dunedin, arrived in Ashburton last evening, and left for Wellington by the express this afternoon.
