The next best despatch for correspondence addressed to Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe and U.S.A. will l>e via San Francisco, per Maunganui, at Wellington, closing at Ashburton, on January 31 at 5 p.m. INCOMING OVERSEAS MAILS. R.M.S. Niagara left Vancouver for Auckland on January 12. Letter portion of mail due Ashburton on Februarv 2.
