THE WOOL SALES.
> SECOND AT WANGANUI, PRICES FIRM ON NAPIER RATES. (Per Press Association). WANGANUI, January 21. The second Wanganui wool sale of the 1926-27 season opened at 4 p.m. to-day. A large catalogue of 25,000 bales was offered to a. full bench of buyers. Bidding was very keen, showing that many buyers are operating on the same limits. Prices were firm on Napier rales, with prices for finer grades satisfactory to growers. All classes of wool were in demand, Bradford taking a big share, while the Italian and German demand played a more prominent part than usual. The sale is proceeding. The range of prices at to-night’s wool sale is:—
