VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. (Per Press Association). TATJMARUNUI, This Day. At the inquest on the victims, in the Wanganui River fatality yesterday,. Thvra and Mavis De.tte, held this morning the verdict was that Mavis was accidentallv drowned and Thyra met her death while attempting to save her sister.
