MOTOR GOES OVER BANK. A DROP OF THIRTY FEET. ACCIDENT TO SERVICE CAR. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Five persons were injured this morning when a. service car from Christchurch to Kaikoura dropped 30 feet over a hank on the Omihi saddle, about half-way between Motanau and Omihi. The car, in taking a sharp turn, struck a post on the roadside, going over a bank and rolling over many times. . . One man and a woman were seriously heart and removed to Waikari Hospital, the others being removed to the Cliristchurc-h Hospital.

NELSON WOMAN INJURED

NELSON, This Day. Through being knocked down by a motor-cycle at Rewaka on Sunday afternoon, Mrs Cecil Hunter, of Nelson, sustained a broken leg and injuries to one thigh, besides bruises on the body. The motorist swerved to avoid killing a straying horse on the road, and smashed into a party of pedestrians.
