Mr Richard Cotton, of Waipori, accompanied by Mr William Arnott,. of Evan’s Elat, was returning on Friday from Lee Stream when the motor-car swerved from the road, in the Lawrence district, into a gully about 100 feet! deop. Both men were rendered unconscious. Mr Arnott was taken to the Tuapeka Hospital suffering from a 1 crushed eliest and broken ribs. M® Cotton received injuries to his face. The car was wrecked. ■ ,
