AVENGING FATHER'S DEATH
CHINESE GENERAL KILLED. BOMB THROWN AT TRAIN. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Reuter.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) PEKIN, December 30. General Heu Shu Cheng has been assassinated. He left Pekin with the object of seeking Sun Chuan Fang and other militarists. According to railway police reports Lu Cheng Wu, son of'General Lu Chien Chang, whom Hsuchu Cheng invited to a banquet at Tientsin in 1918, and shot with his own revolver, threw a bomb when tho train reached Lang Fang, killing Hsu and several members of his staff. ■ Lu Cheng Wu is issuing a circular telegram stating that his motive was revenge for his father's death. Lu Cheng Wu is a cousin of Feng Yuhusing.
