ABD EL KRIM'S ENVOY
NOT RECEIVED IN PARIS. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Reuter.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, December 30. According to the newspapers the Premier (M. Briand) is informing Captain Canning that it is impossible to have any relations with him. Questioned in regard to the interview with Captain Canning, M. Briand said too much importance should not bo attached to Captain Canning.
Captain Canning is the special correspondent of the "Daily Express with Abd-el Krim, and he was reported to have gone to Paris to interview M. Briand unofficially on behalf of Abdel Krim, setting forth certain peace proposals. M. Briand, however, refused to grant an interview with Captain Canning.
