CANADA WINS BUTTER AWARDS. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, October 20. The Dairy Show entries showed a slight falling-off in the Colonial exhibits. In salted butter, Ontario makers took all the prizes, with 97, 95, and 94 marks out of 100. In unsalted butter, (Saskatchewan creamery (974 marks) won. the first prize; Australia was second with 96£, and third with 96 marks. For Cheddar cheese, Ontario won all the prizes. Australia won the gold medal for collection of Colonial dairy produce, including bacon, poultry, and eggs, beating Ontario, the only other entrant. There were no Australian or New Zealand entrants in the Colonial eggs and honey classes.
