HOUSE NARROWLY MISSED. (Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. ; During a storm at Te Araroa this week a terrific thunderbolt fell some miles inland, tearing out a tree, and narrowly missing a house nearby. - Five inches of rain has fallen each day since Tuesday. Hicks Bay also reports a heavy storm. The weather is now abating.
