She was also charged with attempting to smuggle 16 bottles of liquor. . " After the officials had questioned S'e-'ri she was allowed to go to her hotel on promising to appear at the Customs house on Monday and pay .vkatever fine was assessed. When the ierengaria was docked the officials seized 16 bottles of liquor in the actress's trunks and broke them against the deck railings. They fined Negri live dollars for each bottle.
