ANGLO-GERMAN TREATY
AUSTRALIA NOT LIKELY TO JOIN
(Per Press Association —Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 9. In answer to a question whether Australia was likely to join in the commercial treaty concluded between Great Britain and Germany, the Prime Minister (Mr S. M. Bruce) replied in the negative.
(It is stipulated in the treaty that if the Dominions refuse to participate in it, Germany will be free to negotiate separate agreements wjth them.)
