THE WEATHER.

A SHARP FROST. Eleven degrees of frost was registered at the Domain weather station this morning, after a day during which the maximum and minimum temper - tures were respectively 47 and 25 grees. Last night was clear and cold, and the heavy dew caused a white frost. The sky has been clear to-day, with a slight north-easterly breeze in /evidence. ~ , The barometer still continues to risej and stood at 30.16 at 9 a.m. today.

TO-DAY’S forecast.

The following forecast was issued: The indications are for variable breeze , but easterly moderate to strong prevailing and backing by east to north. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. There will probably be a hard frost to-night. Barometer shows little pipyement.
