European exchanges, responding to optimistic foreign news, have regifiiered a distinct gain, notably sterling, which reiched 4.41 J, the highest level in 1924, representing an increase of nearly three cents within a week. The franc reached 5 .*2 cents, and other countries gained fractionally. Bankers declare that the market reflects faith in cable advices indicating that an agreement as to tne terms of the proposed German loan would be forthcoming, despite the present bickering of hankers and the Conference committees. / / /_ i
